How to place the bouquets onto your Cakes
We recommend mounting them onto the cake either with flower picks (see here: flower picks cake deco) or with flower wires. The flower picks are an easier and faster solution while the wire needs more effort but have a more detailed effect. Do not insert the flowers directly into a real cake as it can get infected! In dummy cakes there is no such issue but it is difficult to insert them them to the styrofoam. As a solution to this you can open holes with a screwdriver which you will first warm his tip with a lighter.
Using the flower picks, you simply insert a pick into your cake and place as many flowers as can fit in it or as many fit your design. You insert as many picks you need for the bouquet you have.
Using the wires, you can decorate either with the whole bouquet if you like it as is, creating a circle around the neck of the bouquet and inserting the other end to your cake (use thick No.18 wire to hold the weight of the bouquet), or alternatively you can open the bouquet and tie the flowers on a wire one by one and then insert each flower to the place you want (prefer a thinner wire e.g. No20 or No.22). If you want to place the bouquet in front of your cake, you will need to wrap the stems together with a florist tape that fits the colors of your cake or of course leave them as is!
Shipping
Due to the fact that the specific products are natural and fragile, especially the large leaves of palms and sunpalms, the edges may break during transport, the color or glitter may be removed from the edges due to friction from the traveling. These is considered normal wear and tear and we will not be held responsible for these. You can easily recolor the leaves with a little spray paint or even some edible or not brush color.
When you open your package, it's a good idea to freshen up your flowers by pulling them ones away from each other and straightening any leaves or flowers that may have been distorted in transit.
Dimensions
The size of most of the bouquets range from 10-15cm in width and height respectively while the stems are cut to appx 15cm. so that you have enough stem for your own possible bindings.
