Instructions for use: To find the length you need for a cake, simply multiply the diameter of the cake you want to build by 3.14 (That is π yes) and add 2-3 extra centimeters (2 for smaller cakes and 3 for taller/wider cakes to allow for taping the ends together).
Unwind one of your Cake Rolls® and with a ruler measure the length you calculated. Mark exactly the spot at the top and bottom of the roll with a knife. Place the ruler so as to join both points you marked and cut off the piece of the roll you marked with a pair of scissors or a blade. Wrap the piece you cut and stick its edges with a tape or box tape in 2-3 places. Your Cake Rolls® is ready!
